I have been trying to be gluten free for over a year now some has gotten into my diet and I am even more careful now.

I am finding information on vitamin and mineral deficiency when you are gluten sensitive and it is amazing on the info I am finding out many issues with nerves, pain sensitivity, arthritis, depression and many more issues are caused from malabsorption of vitamins and minerals complicating this allergy or sensitivity so I want to put some info together here trying to put it all together

I want to start with this video of how gluten effects children I think both my children are like me and have sensitivity's to gluten catching this now for them could be far better than I had found out in my 30s later I will add the info I found on vitamin and mineral deficiency

yes by following a no gluten diet and eating good for you food you can become healthy again but to heal we need the proper vitamins and minerals but we need to cut the cause of the leaky gut issues out for you to be able to absorb properly ...... It is a bad cycle to get stuck into I have just learned in the last couple years that the belly aches I had as a kid are not normal for children to go threw and I have been having bone pain for as long as I can remember it is made worse with cold damp times mood issues nerve issues the last 2 years i feel very sick cutting gluten out has been very hard and I think there is still hidden gluten but I know I am deficient in many nutrients I have been stuck in a bad food cycle all my life its not gonna be fixed over night but I know I am on the path to better health now :) cut the gluten and pass the hemp hearts :)

That one is a very interesting read ...I looked up the nutrients well I am looking up all the vitamins and minerals that I could be deficient in and the deficency symptoms fit I keep saying ah that makes sense now and I know I am getting to the core of my disease that no doctor can really put a finger on for me .... I have been figting with the doctors long enough telling them I am sick and they cannot find a cause well I think the cause is the gluten and effected malabsorption something I had a hunch on for a while now reading the vitamins again really pointed it out for me

being a nutritional consultant I have read my vitamins and minerals over and over some things stuck out long ago but I havnet been able to just fix it with a vitamin pill either showing I have issues absorbing them now knowing the cause of the absorbing issues being gluten I have to share this knowledge cause for what ever reason gluten intolarance is on the rise in Canada and the United States

I know over the years I have done damage to my stomach, having issues with gluten and not knowing it.  I used to drink Rye straight and get very severe stomach aches enough that I was rolling on the floor until I had a pain killer to get rid of the pain waiting for it to work I used reflexology which helped too.

Most of my fav foods ere loaded with gluten especially near on while I was on my period well  my belly cramps were unbearable I went to a specialist and he recommended me to have a hysterectomy well I didnt like that idea and suffered for a wile longer until I read about gluten ;)

I stared following a gluten free diet and my belly cramps were cut in half pain and time wise :) I can tolerate them now no surgery (doctor didnt know why I was in pain he didnt find anything wrong with my womb on imaging was going to take a healthy womb just cause I had bad pain)

I just wish that when I was pregnant with my boys I knew about this gluten free diet .......

Here is an article on healing the stomach with reshi :)

http://www.ncbi.nlm....pubmed/15671683

Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide fractions accelerate healing of acetic acid-induced ulcers in rats.
Abstract

The polysaccharide (PS) fractions from several medicinal herbs have been reported to have anti-ulcer effects against experimental ulcers in the rat. The water-soluble PS fractions from Ganoderma lucidum (Reishi mushroom) have been shown to inhibit indomethacin-induced gastric mucosal lesions in rats. This study aimed to investigate the effect of the PS fraction from G. lucidum on the healing of gastric ulcers induced by acetic acid in the rat and to elucidate the underlying mechanisms involved. The abdomen of rats was incised, and the stomach was treated with 10 M acetic acid (100 microL) for 1 minute, and then treated with G. lucidum PS (0.1, 0.5, or 1.0 g/kg) intragastrically, once a day for 14 consecutive days. The results indicated that the oral administration of G. lucidum PS at 0.5 and 1.0 g/kg for 2 weeks caused a significant acceleration of ulcer healing by 40.1% and 55.9%, respectively. In the mechanistic studies, additional rats were treated with 10 M acetic acid to induce acute ulcers, and then treated with G. lucidum PS (1.0 g/kg) for 3, 7, 10, or 14 days. Exposure of the rat stomach to acetic acid led to decreased mucus and increased prostaglandin levels. Treatment with G. lucidum PS at 1.0 g/kg significantly (P < .05) suppressed or restored the decreased gastric mucus levels and increased gastric prostaglandin concentrations compared with the control group. These results indicates that G. lucidum PS is an active component with healing efficacy on acetic acid-induced ulcers in the rat, which may represent a useful herbal preparation for the prevention and treatment of peptic ulcers.

What really convinced me was the work of a cardiologist named Dr. William Davis, who wrote a book called Wheat Belly.  He makes a compelling argument that the mantra of the American heart Association (meanwhile most people die of heart disease, which wasnt the case 40 years ago), 'Eat More Healthy Whole Grains' is one reason for the increase in diabetes, cancer, and heart disease due to the extent of its genetic modification since biblical wheat such as 4 times the number of chromosomes as actual wheat used to have like chromosomes for dwarfism that increased yield and its addictive qualities, its causal relationship to Celiac disease; a common digestive disorder, and its unnatural ability to jack up blood sugar levels faster and more drastically than sugar, another white powder we should similarly avoid.
