if it's fully spawned, it should pin up eventually. just be patient!
its like this:
you could eat that whole cake, not trip, and get the glitter shits (lol)
or wait a couple weeks and eat nice fresh mushies! :D

Any explanation ?
no.
hehe just a question that is asked a lot....don't do it....it'll kill you:eusa_naug j/k.
sorry for the lack of explanation, but I've seen this question about 1.5 million x's now hehe..
The only way this would be feasible is not to eat the cake, but to do an extraction and drinking it. Even then, the most you are going to get is a slight body buzz. In order to get a really good trip, you would have to drink A LOT. IMO, it isn't worth it at all....try to spawn the cake to some poo, or start over.

B. its only good if the mycelium is active.. i mean it doesnt make sense that there would be this body , producing these chemicals, and the body not contain the chemicals.. just wait til it flushes 2 or 3 times
I mean some times people get desperate..i can see that..

We need a sticky on top of the fungi forum:
"WHY YOU SHOULDN'T EAT YOUR SUBSTRATE"
But to be fair, most of us would be lying if we said we
never thought about it (or did it ourselves) when
starting out.
Patience is a virtue, especially in this hobby. Ideally, no one
would know that you HAVE cakes. Every "bud" that snarfs one
of your cakes is one more person who knows about your grow,
and trust me on this one:
You don't really know someone until they have something to lose,
especially in the legal arenas. A small pot bust can easily turn into
"oh, I know a guy who grows shrooms... please don't call my folks."

"eating cakes is for drug addicted losers"
No offense implied of course, like sol said we all thought about it at least once.

Its simply unwise due to the low alkaloid content in the vegetative mycelium.
Your money is in the fruits.

Every time I see this ?? I think of trying some kind of rice cakes. Either trying to get Myc to grow through a store bought rice cake or, just through plain rice to create an edible cake.
PF Cakes are designed to fruit not eat, but what about eating a cake grown specifically for that purpose?

Lol - I'd forgotten about that one... was that a Hip
original, as I recall?
Growing cakes for eating doesn't make sense, as
they're almost useless until after a fruiting cycle or two.
There are mycelium teks out there, and folks who say
they've done it, but if it worked that well, we'd see
mycelium gelcaps on the market instead of shrooms.
I think this quote: "eating cakes is for drug addicted losers"
indicates psychological addiction, as you can't get physically
addicted to shrooms, but many kids are addicted to the idea
of being wasted, at any cost, on any substance,
which in many minds = loserdom.

That's exactly how I see it.
