Its crazy how certain wild greens and such are more nutritional than say lettuce ect. Ive always wondered about cat tails ... I wonder how nutritious they are.. never tried them but have eaten boiled fern sprouts.

I too have always wondered about cat tails. I always suspected they tasted swampy, but apparently very good for you. There are some 50 feet from me, maybe I will give them a shot!

Interesting vids. I've harvested nettle before--not the most fun plant to harvest. One slip up and ouch. Though I've been burned by it countless times throughout my life in the woods. It's a good ovoid indicator. And the knotweed goo-also edible-really helps the burn
