Pretty funny.. but yet again pretty sad too...

People just keep on letting themselves get walked on left and right.

dont forget the collection of rain water is now being threatened as well, this has been

going on for some years though, but still proves relevant in this story of bullshit.

Although I didn't give each video a thorough forensic analysis, I did view each one long enough to get the gist.

Sometimes, I think ideas like this are deliberately fostered in order to get us to hand over our hope along with our civil liberties. Don't get me wrong, I see the information presented but I just don't understand the light in which it is presented. My impotent rage can do nothing to change the situation except maybe make me an easier target.

I have a different way of thinking. I'm pretty sure I borrowed this from some of TVCasualty's writings - It is better to plead forgiveness than to ask for permission.

There is not enough enforcement to over-see this legislation at the individual level.

If you apply for a permit and seek inspections........prepare to conform to regulations as they stand.

If you live a self-sustaining lifestyle, don't put a f-ing sign in the front yard declaring so. Just do it and grin silently and contentedly.

There are smart ways to pull this off. Stay partially "on-grid" but don't rely on utilities. Sure, you'll have a small bill each month for being connected but it keeps them from sniffing around. Better than fighting the machine.

Stay small, un-colorful, and appear un-palatable - it's the law of the jungle.

I would have put this in Resist and Rebel, as that is what would be called for.

It's funny that here they allow collection of rainwater from your roof only. No stream, spring, or other runoff is legal to collect.

I think one of their premises is :"the difference between theft and borrowing is asking first."

It's the king's water, eh?

There probably is little restriction for governmental agencies selling/leasing/granting the rain as a concession to the private sector to sell back to us.

While all of you short-sighted guys are claiming stuff like water and air........

I'm declaring totalitarian control over the Hydrogen atom. It's mine. Now pay me for using it or I'll split one amongst you.

You have until midnight 2012

Okay....deadline extended to Sept. 2015

Dammit!

:Adjusts tin-foil hat:

Stay tuned for the real end of the world. It's coming. Trust me.

I'll be getting my PayPal account set up to receive my "royalties" in the meantime.

I hate to even put these words in print for fear of giving someone a bad idea.....

I can easily see AlGore and friends instituting Wind Credits, effectively taxing every living being for using the wind - whether we actually use it or not because, see, we're interfering with the normal flow of wind with our bodies........and Nature being the fragile mother she is needs to be protected.

Then, after reaping the wind, literally, what do they do with all their money?

Build more wind making machines of course!

and if you think about it - this is slightly less crazy than Carbon Credits where you can make all the carbon/chemicals/ozone you want as long as you can find someone else to pay your fine ???????????????????????????????????

I've seen some documentaries and have read many news articles online about this for over 8 years.

Some news stories spin this in favor of protecting people from "bad water".

Most recently, when I did some brief research today to respond to this thread, I see that it's mainly local government saying:

"Don't do this for (stupid reason that doesn't make much sense.)"

So I can't say in good faith that I recognize any TRUE reason to keep people from doing this apart from broadening government coffers (Giving them more money.)

WHY NOT collect rainwater?

Aren't we inundated with how wasteful we all are with water among other things now?

Shouldn't we squash wastefullness?

Apparently: Fuck no.

It buggers my mind to no end.

Rainwater is a resource going to waste. WHY NOT use it for good?

Every day is the end of the world, as we have known it.  That can be a bad thing or a good thing.

Last night on CtoCAM radio, a guy billed as "the Canadian Edgar Cayce" said (in trance) that everything west of the Rockies is going under in a few years (2018-2023) while the Eastern Seaboard is sunk up to 200 miles inland.  He said Hillary would be prez, beating Trump.  The stock market and economy were going in the dumper, big time, within the next six months.  He said that the karma is due to corruption.  Imaging that.

He said we should modify our greed, find within ourselves, light and love, compassion and forgiveness.  He said, "abstain from corruption and the planet will save itself."

I'm okay with whatever comes.  Not planning on any building permits.

All I have to say is this: anyone seen the movie "Law Abiding Citizen"?

Not once while watching that movie was I ever pulling for the character played by Jamie Foxx.

No need for apologies brother SPS, I understand where your coming from.

It pisses me off as well, but it is probably best not to publish your thoughts about the fiery revenge though (note, I didn't say you shouldn't think them) :)

If we live by the apparent "governmental laws of the land", none of it counts unless you get caught.
