Cat bubbled h2o, is simply that has an aquarium bubbler in it an bubbled over night.

if you add nutes to water the ph goes down bubble it for a day or two and the ph comes up . this prevents chasing ph by using ph up and ph down, it is said to help remove chlorine and add o2 to the water.

when I do hydro/ coir /pro mix or soil I never require any ph adjustment.

I do this with earth juice, general organics and general hydroponics nutes , everything I use this also feeds the beneficial microbes in organics, teas, earthworm castings   ect.

I am impressed skunkbudda, very nice work.

Skunkbudda403 I'm impressed with your green thumb!! If you can grow good bud than you will have no problem with boomers. Good vibes!!!

Thanks for the complement...

been growing off and on for ghe last 8 years. The last few years I've been trying to get away from all this hydro crap jacked up OK synthetic nutes, like come on people we are smoke/eatting/consuming this synthetic crap. Force feeding our plants dull of this shit weather the plant wanta the nutes or not. I can tell a huge difference in taate and quality of a bud. And I'm sick of this chemical shit. Maybe it's me getting older. I don't know. It's also sickaning knowing that this synthetic fertilizers runoff is flowing back into our drains and into our soils.

Things are going good, one lady has been suffering quite a bit. She didn't take too well to my hot soil. I did lack in the cooking time only giving it a few weeks. And I had to settle for store bought worm castings. I'm currently working on setting up a worm farm to process my own custom compost for the ladys. I only grow 3 plants at a time usually. But tend to veg them out for about 2-2 1/2 months while toping and shaping. Thus go round I was in a hurt to get them flipped or they wood have been topped once more and potted up into 22 gal pots.

Shuuld be an interesting grow to say the least.

what is 'bubbled' h2o?

Oxigeating the water ( So putting oxygen back into your water. Helps keep your micro life in the soil happy and good for the roots as well. Just a fish take bubbler. Great for making compost Teas.

When the water is sitting for too long (mine is out for over well over 48 hours or longer in a resivoir you need to get that oxygen back into your water. Leaving the water out and bubbling ot helps cleanup the tap water chemicals that will kill the microlife and organic element in the soil which TLO is striving for... I'm currently going or switching from organic fertilizers to a TLO (True Living Organics) where I'll be building my compost soil up with organic layers and spikes. I'm currently investing in proper water filtration to make the switch complete and help rid my water of all the evil Micro life killing chemicals put into the water in most city's.

Its long to explain TLO, if people are interested pm me and i can send you a link to "The Rev's True Living Organics" book. I'd post it in the library thread I've started but haven't head back from Agama concerning the material that I upload and post public.... the book would explain it better. There are also lots of you tube links that can be watched....

Hopefully once I get through my first complete grow with mushrooms It will be a lot smoother. Just need to practice and get a set of routines and procedures imbeded in Mr and figure out what works. I have lots of prints and hopefully new ones soon too. So I can practice till I'm a pro. I love horticulture and am super excited to get some first hand experience with mushrooms. Such and interesting hobby

I was using Earth Juice and will have it on stand by incase I need it. It is a great Liquid Organic Fertilizer.

Thanks for the Complement Hairloom Spores greatly appreciate.

I understand your point of view, I have eliminated chemical fertilizers from my soil/s. It kills off the mycorrhizae in native soils. I like the idea of bubbling the water. My whole life I've aerated my plant/mammal water with pressure, why wouldn't I go the next level? Good stuff!

Just wait till you start brewing teas. Your microlife in your teas go wild. Frothing up and smelling very earthy.

It's a way of life. I hate the crap on the street, and the shady element that comes with the terrirony. Nothing beats good organic bud. And you can grow huge plants and buds with out pumping them full of synthetic nutes.

TLO is all about letting the plant and soil microbes take care of them self lIke they would on nature. The layes and spikes are placed in the soil so the plant can send out its own roots I'm search of food and use the soil and nutrients as it sees fit. So tour spikes will be positions in a square around the root ball (but not touching. The roots will grow search out and utilizes these spikes (raw fuel) so either flowing spikes (PK Heavy) or vegging spikes (N heavy) layers will be exactly what the term suggests. Layers of organic amendments. Another grower I chat with a lot is well further on his TLO than myself and it's looking pukka! Just absolutely beautiful Healthy lush plants.

I'll post up some update pictures once I have better service (WiFi) at the resort later this evening.

Big Tooth #3 (this one has been a real fussy Pheno and hasn't liked the hot soil she is in. She was suffering straight from the get go, and I probably shouldn't have taken her to flower, but I needed my medicine and had to compromise. TlO there is no flushing defeats the whole purpose with all those raw organic ammendmanes in the soil. She has recovered rather well though

Hey Skunk,
Looks good, that Big Tooth really looks bushy and pretty. I am vegging under 32w daylight bulbs but I want to pick up a 400w metal halide hortilux eye lamp. I think that would improve a lot in making my veg girls more bushy. I'm also interested in doing some all organic with some of my Chem4 and some G13 Hash Plant x Butterscotch Hawaiian that a real good friend gifted me. I work a lot so its hard to find time but somehow I do it. The mush are another hobby I love too. Looks like you have some nice jars going there. I had some GT syringes but they didn't produce. I made some Burma and Amazonian syringes from some prints I'm going to work on soon as I get motivated.

Thanks for the Compliments The observer greatly appreciate the kind words.

The Big Tooth Lady's were giving a 2 month Veg.

The started out life under banks of T5's for their first 2 weeks then we're moved to the lower half of my Vegging Closet. Under a 400 watt MH for 1 week where i topped them once, then once recovered I moved them into my flowering room where they were given 18/6 of 1000watt HPS lighting. During 4he remainder of the two months they were subjected to bondage, LSTing & multiple toppings. They really did bush out and are producing some lovely smelly buds.

Been growing these following The Revs book True Living organics (book is in the forum library thread). and have been receiving nothing but plain water that's been bubbleled for 48+ hours or longer. Haven't hit them with a lick if synthetic or liquid organic fertilizers to date.

My last grow was the same. I went a total of 20 & 25 weeks with my SSH lady's with nothing but plain bubbled water. The smoke was amazing but the 2 month veg and the 25 weeks if flower were a little too long so reason I chose a quicker strain this go round.

I like the dual spectrum bulbs, gives the best of both worlds. My ballast's are selectable so I can run either MH or HPS with dimmers.

The Mushrooms are a new to me hobby, and one ive been finding very interesting. So far I'm having great success. And I'm so close to being able to birth my first cake. Which will be a special moment for me.

I've got some other planned mushroom strains to work with. I'm interested to see what the difference is between Cube strains. (Looks, growth and potency) if there is a difference. I'm totally new to Mushroom horticulture so it's been an interesting journey so far watching these things progress.

Hoofully in the new year I'll be adding some cacti to my adventures. Should get real interesting around here.

Hope you enjoy the show.

GOLDEN TEACHER
- So I'm so grateful to be doing my first grown with the Golden Teacher as the name is so fitting. It has taught me a lot about mycology in my short time being involved. So far with this strain I've learnt how to make a spore syringe, PF Tek, Sterilization, growth of Mycilum and yes growth of contamination. I'm ow getting ready to lean the fruiting cycle of a mushroom.

For such an old spore print that originally has probably traveled a long ways to be here has gifted me an enormous amount knowledge.

My 2 100% colonized jars. Such an exciting experience to have made it this far with such good success. I owe a lot of this success to the forum and everyone who has offered me guidance and advice; who had put up with with my noob questions that have been asked countless times... bless you all and your patients, for with out people like this forum has, new people like myself might not attempt growing these wonderful organisms.

Here is my Second Strain I'll be running B+ which is colonizing like a banshee on speed.

Now I've asked this before on my other thread. Which once I'm done during I'll faze out and keep all my adventures here in one easy to find place.

Now for anyone following my adventures and can offer advice it's greatly appreciated.

My first jar to colonize is on day 5 of consolidation.... I was planning on birthing it this weekend but I'm a little concerned about the water that is pooling in the bottom of the jar around the edges. Should I birth shy of a week and dunk it and proceed to fruiting or should I stick out the next couple days of consolidation?

Well after a lot of reading and more reading I didn't feel right about leaving me colonized cake in thw jar for any longer sitting in a pool of water. So I decided to birth my first cake!

I cracked the jar open, poured out the water and had about a tea spoons worth that collected. (Too much water in my cakes?)

Proceed the scrape off the dry vermiculite, and once scraped off I put the lid on and gave it a slight tap on a cloth Towel... she pupped right out.

On first inspection... it's a nice fine Web of mycelium
Touch is rather rubbery/spongy, smell is oh ya mushroomy & very earthy. It's not my favorite smell in the world actually makes me sick to the stomach but I know what it smells like and it's unmistakeable.

So after birth I ran some cold tap water over the cake and washed the cake and the jar off. Then put the cake back in filled with water and a milk cap on to to keep it submerged and will soak the cake in the fridge.

Very exciting time. For me here are a couple pictures.

Another 19 more jars to colonize and birth..... in the following weeks.
