Well finally found the time when I got back to the city from snowboarding to get some work done on my Cacti Substrate and hopefully create a decent mix that will work for these lady's for a while.

The Mix: (While not perfect I'm hoping this will get me in the game and let them thrive)
10% clay pots
10% washed course sand
Charcoal I haven't had any success getting near Chrisman
5% cacti Soil (loam, perlite and leaf compost)
75% black Pumice (was unable to get lime except fine ground lime) I haven't added any yet.

While getting these lady's In their new home for the next while, I noticed 2 of the plants have little pups growing off them.. or what appears to be a pup?

Hybrid Cacti:

Well "World Seed Supply" Has come through. Well I knew that long ago. But....

They were very nice to deal with, friendly and helpful. My order was placed and and when funds had cleared the order was sent out promptly with a tracking number. Package did get held up for a few days in Montreal Canada for 5 days. Must-have been a holiday from the east coast ad when it reached the west coast it was delivered with in 18 hours of arrival at the airport.

So I'm super stoked to say the Hybrid seed grown out is about to commence. Just wanna do some more reading and get all my gear assembled and ready to go before I begin. Also need to arrange dates so I've got some free time the I'll be around for.

Here's the package contents and yes I did count the seeds and they even out extras in some !!! Gotta love that!

My first Dealings with World Seed Supply was amazing and I'd encourage new people to give them a try. I'll doing another order with them for the Holiday Sampler and a few extras... will report back on that transaction once it's completed. But I have full confidence in them!

Well after receiving a Wack load of Cannabis seeds I've reduced my stock and binned a lot of unwanted plants that didn't produce will. So I'll be keeping one Pheno of the Big Tooth I'm satisfied with.

And have begun germinating a few of these.

HYBRID CACTI GROW OUT:
So on the 24th Dec I embarked on my hybrid cacti grow out. I'll be germinating 8 different varieties this first go around.

1)Trichocereus SS02 X Luther Burbank
2)Trichocereus SS2 X Juuls Giant
3)Trichocereus Peruvianus Serra Blue X Huancoensis
4)Trichocereus SS02 X Trichocereus Peruvianus "Serra Blue"
5)T Kimuras Spiny Giant X SS02
6)Trichocereus Pachanoi X T Kimura's Spiny Giant
7)Trichocereus SS1 X T Pachanoi
8)Trichocereus Huancoensis X SS02

(Pots are devided in 1/2 and seeds are sown on either side. 2 strains per pot. Germinating in a humidity dome with 90% RH & Temps at 30/28 degrees C Day/Night. Most varieties I sowed a dozen to two dozen per pot, some a little more than that.
soil was a basic Cacti Soil that was sifted & sterilized before use.

yes i do, none are adult yet, i sowed them last spring.  i will transplant them prolly in spring, i only sowed like 4 seeds per strain, most of them germed and are doing well ( i did lose a coulple after). and i really dont rem how long it took, i'm thinking a few weeks of sitting on top of soil (don't bury) in a humidity dome. water from below.

I'm still finding gems in the sample auction I won from WSS, their Kratom page is cool too.

before I lose my mind researching it, what is the easiest dmt containing plant to grow? Not to go too far off topic..

Awesome I'm excited to hear and see good success like you have had from a Seed Company. I've had a great experience from them and will be bring them additional business.

I hope my success is as good as yours was Warfrat those are some nice specimens. So they are just under a year old then.

were you growing them under lighting or just in your window?
Mine have all begun under lighting. I place a sheet of paper over the top of the tub to shade the seeds. The seeds were sprinkled on the top of the finely sifted/sterilized and lightly moisten soil.

I'm still finding gems in the sample auction I won from WSS, their Kratom page is cool too.

I'm not too sure but I've headd Caapi to be a heave producer..? I'm still looking for interesting things to grow in my Closet and around the house. So if you come up with anything please let me know here. Would be greatly appreciated.

So at the advice of many on here I've found a great window to add a few Peyote buttons in to grow along with some of my other cacti & Succulents. So they will follow the season in my window and possibly moved out doors when weather permits.. the other specimines will be grown under lighting.
