Anadenanthera Colubrina 'Yopo'
Decided to have another attempt at growing these. I've got a few .var of anadenanthera. I'll sow a few more seeds in the next week once my sowing trays have been emptied. Have alot of new and interesting plants germinating currantly.

Anyhow she's the first yopo to pop up after sowing the seeds she was up in just over 24hours. Haven't had any other success with any other kinds of Anadenanthera With this attempt. I Sowed 4 pots this time. Last attempt a year ago I got 0%. These seeds were collected fresh from a friends where they grow wild along with the Mimosa seeds.

Having a change at a redemption grown. This morning I was blessed with a lovely cutting from a generous member who's local to myself, this lovely cutting I was able to turn into 3 quality cuttings. With an extra pot with sole left bud sites.

Will be rooting these in Straight Spagnum moss inside a mini greenhouse...

Man! They all look so healthy and robust
I noticed on clone 4 you were using ( what looked like to me )
A hydro pot. Do you think the extra air circulation is helpful?

I'm sure it does help out a lot. They work really good for rooting clones in a humid rooting box. But out in the open they tend to try out the substrate really quickly. Depending how much care you can offer, that can be a good thing or bad thing. More often wet and dry cycle seems to keep plants growing quicker and the soil is never water logged. But miss a watering schedule and tour plants parish quickly.

I purchased a large Hydro setup for a few dollars at a garage sale and well I'm a dirt farmer. So I just use the net pots because I have about 100 of them.

But for rooting the extra humidity and air exchange into the rooting area must be a beneficial addition.

The clone I received from our member here was an amazing cutting. Was total quality and will surly root root with no problems. MJ is such a generous person.

Skunks 2017 Papaver Somniferum:

Well looks like the Skunk will hopefully have some blooms to post later this summer. Currantly not much to show of interest. Just some young seedlings.

Hopfully we start getting some nice weather. It's been rather windy and raining the last while mixed with a few hot days. But was enough to start germination and get the process going. These were sown outdoors with is a first for this Skunk. Usually I start them indoors and transplant them outside once they get bigger for some early season blooms. This grow will be late summer blooms I'm looking at. Kinda dropped the ball with everything that happened.

Maybe like botanicals for dummy's
Just joking, I'm sure I just need to hunt it down
