canna butter question

hey guys, noob here! i got 100g of good trim/shake i want pretty potent butter, how much butter to use for 100g? the trim is potent bud that didn't make the looks cut.

I typically do a quarter oz of trim/bud to one stick of butter/ 1/4 lb.....  I find at that ratio, a tblsp is a good strong dose.

250g butter / 15g buds is my typical mix.

I cook it for 45 minutes and put it into the fridge over night.

For what it’s worth
Here’s how I calculate my doses

I made my oils/butters out to be 1 does = 1 tablespoon.
In a recipe for brownies I base a box of brownies on 8 pieces
Box recipe uses ½ cup or 8 tablespoons so one brownie is considered a dose.

I came to the conclusion for me that

½ cup of butter (1 stick) for 14-28g Mexican brick weed
½ cup of butter (1 stick) for 7-14g of mid-grade or trim
½ cup of butter (1 stick) for 3.5-7g for highest quality.

So you have good trim and shake.

For tablespoon dose of social lubricant
I’d go the ratio of ½ cup oil or butter per 7-14g of material
So if you have 100g I would use around 3.5 pounds of butter or 7 cups of oil

OR

For a tablespoon of couch locked evening
I’d go the ration of ½ cup butter or oil to 14-28 g of material
So here if you have 100g I would use around 3.5 cup of oil or 1.75 pounds of butter

You can roughly get 1 oz. of well ground material into ½ cup of butter or oil
Just makes it a little more important to squeeze every last drop out of it.
So if you don’t want to play around with the above just make it as potent as possible and cut it into your recipe
So you could probably get all 100g into 4 sticks of butter.


Go to a health food store or grocer and pick up some powered soy lecithin and add 1-2 tablespoons to your final product and stir well.

Make sure to lick the spatula...and the bowl...and the counter...and the....

I love making butter and oils cause I am FCUKERDD by the time I am done.

Also rule of thumb
It's a fairly safe extract to preform but don't do it high or get high while doing this.

Boil overs, scorching, droping on the counter can happen in the blink of an eye when not watched.

(Trying to mix the brownies mix on the counter after you spilled the jar with 2 cup of oil in it not only makes a complete mess it does not do well for the end product! Even with a pastry scraper...)

I always suggest this step on any thread I comment on or create myself
I don't think a lot of people know about it
Powdered or liquid
Soy or sunflower

Lethicin is an emulsifier. Helps evenly suspend the thc molecule in your extracted liquid
Makes it othe large thc molecule that is difficult for the gut to absorb HIGHLY bio available to the body
Not more potent just more efficient to about 2 times the effect
More bang for the buck by stretching the medicine and making the medicine absorb into the body
and mind!

1 teaspoon in your extract and 1-2 tablespoons in your end product per cup of oil/butter.

CAUTION WITH margarine or any other extracting material that already contains letchin - the end product will seize up and you will loose product.

Only oil or butters!

budder is made brownies are baking.. that's some potent smelling budder. how to get the residual water out of the budder after draining? there is not much but i don't wanna store it with water drops in it

i just simmered the moisture out of the budder on a low heat. was worried about burning it but it looks and taste fine..

If you keep it low and keep an eye on it butter is pretty difficult to burn.

You basically clarified your budder.

It's a culinary technique that drives out the water and milk solids.



You can still bake with clarified butter. It has some different properties.


If your looking for asthetic value you should use the Budder in baking recipes that call for oil.

If the end result is just a delivery vehicle for the medicine then Any recipe that it's needed in is fine.



for example a chocolate chip cookie with butter will be thick and raised where if you use oil or clarified butter the chocolate chip cookies look like the cookie melted around the chocolate chips and thin.

Both taste yummie and deliver the medicine!

Crap can't fined my keys..need cookies...must get to store.

this budder is extra potent.. made a batch of brownies with 1/3c of budder, I had one bite of a brownie (cuz i know better then to eat the whole thing) and it was just about too much, laid in bed all tense and hallucinating, which isn't a bad thing just took me by surprise. The bad thing though is when i was transferring the brownies to foil i dropped a small piece and my lil 15lb dog ate it before i could get it, he was sooooo fooked up, i was scared for him.. I had to comfort him most the night, it's morning now and he is still not his normal self. <note to self: be careful next time>

Sounds like other bear the first time I made brownies for him.
I baked brownies. Went to take an evening shower. Other bear gets home from work early. Smells brownies. Gets 1.5 down before I get out of the shower. Im like...uh...dude...where's the other 1.5? Other bear rubs belly and smiles...uh dude...we need to talk...

He still looks twice at a brownie before he eats one...even if it was not me that made it lol

Hope puppy dog is good!
