Thank you I am excited for my comeback :) I have had very turbulent two years in the past due to personal/emotional issues and I lost nearly 2/3 of my cacti as a result of that. Most of them were the seedlings, but also some older specimen. I actually needed a break from my entire life after that...it hurt me extremely bad, it felt like I lost my lifework, though I was just starting. I have found new hope and faith and will start from the beginning.

Hey Neptune, hope you are good buddy. Sounds like a rough time, guess it is easy to be taken away from the plants when you are not feeling so good eh - happens to us all but sounds like you were dealt a rough hand for a while. To have the loss of plants on top of that, well that's just a little too heavy.Hope you are back in the game, any updates on the cacti? I'm soon to start a whole bunch of aztekiums from seed, been doing quite a bit of background research atm.

Namaste, weird that it took me a year to reply. I'm doing great, so are the cacti. My life has changed completely, but in a great positive way :).
I might share some pictures later in winter. I grow without artifical lights and it has cooled down a lot here, so I am preparing the cacti for winterrest.

I miss you Meyer. We didn't chat a lot in private, only a few times but I remeber how you got infected by this cacti euphoria and how you asked me 100s of question until I nearly lost my mind.
Now I miss it. I wasn't around when you passed and only learned it many months later.

how is everyone doing? i haven't been around for a while. some life changing stuff happend past two years (in a good way) and I was barely online really. i am still a cacti enthusiast but i haven't grown my garden, in fact I gave away a little.

 

i hope everyone is well and hope to talk to you guys in a couple months.
