This is a most welcome section, newly added to our ever expanding forums. I just had to acknowledge this and stamp my approval on it. I see many of our members who regularly share gardening tips and experience. I am so looking forward to the soon to come threads here.

I can pile on this one. My garden couldn't be more urban.

Two strips of soil 5'X220'  basically edges of a parking lot but secluded in it's own way by the use of the surrounding property. Even better the owner is providing all the water I can use which will be really helpful in this very dry environment.

Basically it's a hiding place for a poppy grow  :)  will intermix perennials, annuals, vegetables, herbs and some shrubs to provide some interest and keep the soil producing after the pods dry and vanish.

Yes ver happy and excited this forum is here.

I think it will become very useful tool here for all to use not just individuals directly in the city.

Bad/odd/opposite of what's needed soil conditions
Creative pests - human, animal or otherwise
Shorter growing seasons
Indoor gardening

Everyone can participate, educate and relate....
It's just the urbanites tend to deal with all the challenges. Not for better or for worse...just adapting to the different.
