I think I found a spot for the Dagga good thing too cuz its roots were into the ground outa the bottom of the pot ;)....I do not sit in this spot but I walk around this spot every morning and the best time to see the humers is in the moring :)

We went and got real POOP!! Horse and Cow a year old has good texture to it ...I was flinging shit yesterday better then a manuer spreader ;) lol people look at me funny and may even laugh but I have tried every tool out there and well nothing works metter then my hands I can break it up and if I have to throw a handful I have good aim by now so I can get around seedlins if its broken up enough real stuff isnt really that broken up till the plants eat it....bagged shit is broken up well so Im gonnna use the rest in around the seedlings that are tiny ....and in the pots im gonna do up sortly ;)

my friends garden is weeded and got pooped too the stuff that needs it so im done till the cucumbes come up and peas and the beans.....the green onions are ready and good ....we got them dividing the ones that were planted in the fall have turned into 2-4 onions they are really green right now but if I split them out and put one back in the hole it still grows :) so maybe my friend can let it grow to maturity ad have a cooking onion out of it too :)
we plaanted more onions this spring cuz my friend is an onion freak ;) tomatoes are doing good even the ones that almost crooked from my friennds moldy window and being out under the tarp when it snowed for 2 days they r growing some new leaves back and told my friend that they will probably come back and do better then the ones that didnt suffer ;)

oh my tomato tree is looking nice and healthy.....celery is looking good the stuff that was out all winter looks sweet and the strawberries are full flower and they wont stop till fall frost ;) gonna put some real poop on these ;) .....planted my magic bean stock too 5 of them right beside the dagga cuz the hummers like them too :)

Got to love a woman who knows her shit and one with deadly aim is worth her weight in gold.

You are a truly a remarkable woman Wilde, and your posts bring a smile to my face.

It is a good way to start my day.

We put the sun opener and some cacti outside more later its gonna be cool tonight so I covered stuff in my garden its not planted yet so no prob was easy to cover up ....friends garden is planted but it wont frost it be ok if it does frost I will go over before sun and water it then it be fine as long as its wet with rain or water whn sun comes up the frost washed off it wont hurt the plants

we added poop from the farm and turned it by hand in the top a bit and added compost on top we will plant tomrow ...dagga tomato ...tomato tree....celery....cucumber....squash and melon (last 3 need more warmth so I can cover these a bit and speed up the process just remember to vent ;) gets hot
I cant remember anything more here for now??....

need to pot up some fancy tomato plants not sure If Im gonna put them in the woods somewhere or to keep them closer I c how I feel but they will stay in a smart pot typ of pot with drainage holes a bit in outer pot and inner pot lots of air and bottom holes I found this works best for me with least amout of watering and such.... Im gonna pot 2 daggas and hum this one cacti I have it looks like dragon fruit but its not it work as graftiing stalk too got lots of trailers should take some cuttings and try cloning I will keep this in mind when planting them up :)

I will take some pictures and add my recipe for outdoor pots .....

It is cold!! and my body quit yestaerday I had no sleepand well my body said sleep all day....now Im up early and try and stay up today and try and get somme seeds in or theres not really a point...and well I should plan my covers to cover come fall cuz they still be fruiting or just fruiting and I would get nothing without an extra few weeks after first frost it gets hot again and will be frost free again for a week or two it can prolong the growing eason a month if I can cover .....Cucumbers a quick 50 day variety....squish butter nut/cup?......and canary melon(usually e do not have enough time for melons but this is smaller then watermelon maybe enough time).....and zuchini( i use the larger ones for cake and muffins etc bread....and the neighbour uses them samll as raw and cooked veggie I dont like them this way but I always share garden veggies and plant a few favs for people that dontbuy many veggies ;)
....planted a pea garden along the side walk for a pregnant friend :) lol her and her daughter walked from school everyday picking and eating peas from the garden :) gotta love garden veggies :)

need to have some type of plan thanls for listing to me talk to myself lol ;)

Zuchinni do better hot spot ....they need room especially well feed ones can take up a few feet squared...

my garden is a rectangle ....size...?? 3-4feet wide....long there is a few baby trees on the west side late day sun side giving them shade a bit of protection but a hot garden spot

the left side is cooler then the right

so celery does good in the hot but shady side I will plant it to the left ....zuchinni to the right or middle somewhere....

tomato and dagga love it hot......the dagga atracts huming birds so there is a tree to the hot side it be behind it and the tomato to the other side of it making a tallbbushy area....the tomato to the other sde of the dagga adding to the bushy tall area :) covering a gap in my hedge that peoplee going by can see threw right now so very happy with this....altho worried about beetles...they strip everything they wont eat the tomatoes but they might eat the dagga...the beetles can climb and fly and drop...hand picking every morning is the only way to stop them that and a good mulh to stop the grubs I found in the sand they love this mountan ash?? it make the bestt spot for the huming birds to rest in .... maybe they eat the beedles for me??
I have a good layer of compost on the garden giving the tree some bunny poop pine shaving compost shortly :) maybe that help a healthy well fed tree can better cope the attack ;)

now back to the seeds cucumbers I want around the outer edges....maybe use some wire....no just ground to keep them short....so I can cover them so keep the trailing mess in the garden
....mellon the same way and my squish....trail too.....I want them planted to the edge too

I was thinking to put a plant to the middle then have tow plants one each edge but if I have 2 to the side instead of 3 it be easier to fit everyhting covered come fall....

....so I think this will be the plan.....2 plants to a 3-4foot wide spot...along a maybe staggered along a 10foot long spot maybe 15feet im a bad judge on measurement lol ....I know how big plants get and I think the vine seeds will travel around the taller or bushy plants ....maybe pant them beside the bishy plant so they can travel wround the taller plant :).....ok I think I got it....I was gonna put seeds in yesterday but i felt like crap and well I said I have no idea where exactly where so I stop and plan it first ;)

:) The garden kicked my ass today but me and hubby got lots done ...it was a good day to burn the extra brush around and we cliped some trees/bushes back..... repotted stuff.....planted in the garden poop and compost everywhere .....rabbits have lots of grass and weed clippings and they have the branches that they like an elm and popular ...everything is watered and well its gonna rain so we moved some rain water around and made sure that the rock bass has O2 and its still alive even tho I found a mouse or a mole dead in the pond.....me and hubby been working on a hidy spot behind our one cherry bush :) we put up some screen and a tent tarp over the whole thing now we can sit or even lay down for a nap out there without the bugs bugging us :) nice little spot to have a hoot without everyone walking by to know what we r doing ;)

We got some badly needed rain ...it was so dry that I almost ran outa water and I could have watered more ......the fishy will like having nice fresh water as far as I know the rock bass is still alive (they can handle low O2 water) good thing too cuz I dont run a pump

Arathu I decided to finally weed my carrots too ;) Tell your daughter I found a few flower surprizes and maybe she will feel more like playing in the garden if she could find a few flower surprizes too ;)
I sprinkle poppie seeds everywhere ...the kind you use for topping your muffin ...so if they come up they do if they dont they dont ......I have a few nice healthy ones coming up and some nice carrots nd beets and lettuce and the peas run the back of the garden nice and tall about a foot or more now with lots of flowers today :) me and hubby weeded and gave some to the rabbits they were so happy haha miss bitch bunny bit hubby lol usually im getting attacked kinda funy he got it today :) Happy fathers day hunny your pets love ya :) at least Po's being good boy and not biting

I spread some nice farm poop on this garden too the other gardens got it alredy and they r growing beautifully :) and this garden got bagged poop first cuz the plants were too small all over and the other gardens I started with the poop and added plants so sometimes you gotta wait :) anyway all the plants are big enough and we have had a few feeds of lettuce it was time to add more foor for the garden the poop was well composted so I put it on thick it wont burn anything just add some mulch to a dried out veggie bed it was ssoooo dry .....this garden also has the sun choke in it so its hard to keep them cut pulled out but the rabbits like the tops too so they have some use now (I dont like them much and they give me gas pains) better as rabbit feed :)

The strawberries and celery iis doing so good my strawberries are sooo big already I have put farm poop on them and compost and feed it with comfrey feed already too they r soo big green still .....there is plenty to share with the chippys ....I just wish they would finish one off before they start a new one (bites out of most of them ;) lol my strawberries have pink flowers ....my new valarian is doing very beautifully :) its a great pain reliever for people but it is the best one for cats :) they love it you dont have to fight with them to take thier medicine ( I just give them a small peice of root to play with chew on rub on etc makes them feel better )

my oak trees are doing nice with another round of lettuce mix I think there is fennel in there too it smells like licorice a bit....I like diff lettuces but its hard to tell whats a weed and whats a lettuce so waiting is best sometimes for weeding :)

My wild Dagga is waist height now and starting to show flower points where they will start growing :) cucumbers and meleons are doing good and the zuchinni and my squish is doing well too :)
tomato tree is really heathy :)

next we have to bring out the rest of the cacti give them a good water and feed :)

I love flowers in the garden. Nasturiums are a great companion for many vegetables and help hold moisture by covering the ground. The flowers are edible, makes a beautiful salad. Chamomile is another pretty and useful one. Marigolds aren't my favorite, but they are another great companion.

gotta love the edible flowers or medicinal ones......most veggies dont well we eat them before they flower so the ones like tomatoes that need to be fertilized it helps if the bugs come in for the bigger flowers and then stop to get from them all :)

everything looks happier after the rain and I have all the smaller rain buckets full (ones that r beside the gardens) and Im filling the pond back up now ....it was full last night and I refiled the big rain barrel which is emptying into the pond again :) ......more rain today so everything should be full of water

Found some mushrooms coming up from the poop in the garden :) Makes good dirt :)

Every year I add more compost and poop and eventually the garden beds will be raised ....cold frames worked in where needed :) ....this year I piled up the sod from the new garden around the garden to keep the cold out when I covered it with plastic it worked really well to hold the plastic down

I put some poop up around the sides too where there is sod and big blocks of wood from my friends big old spruce that came down in a storm we made use of them as seating around t he fire pit but now since they are really decaying and growing some interesting bracket fungi thought I would retire them to the garden :) ...anyway Im thinking thr sod and poop and some humidity staying cuz the blocks of wood I may get some mushrooms growing in here :)

my lawn is getting higher and higher the rabbits are not doing thier job need more gardens :) maybe make a green house sody out of aall the grass :) ....there will always be enough weeds for the rabbits ....they do eat a bit of the hops but the sprouts I dont wanna give them too much of the tuff old stuff
.....and they have that sun choke too they eat root and sprouts of that stuff too .....rabbits dont wanna eat grass anyway they r not cows this is why we give them clover and alfalfa .....so more weeds less grass more gardens :)
