I was a little concerned about the rancid thick tea off this shit so I did 25 percent fine verm..

Nice, will help aid the water rentention a bit too. Is the donkey poo dirt like, mud like, or a lil puffy or grassy? Dark black or greyish or brownish? ;)

I started another tray and will post pics before I case it with straight verm. The verm caseing really has proven to ward off the contams for me.

Nothing wrong with straight verm as a casing. Tis perfect. I used to use that all the time, still do many times. Simple, and works.

that kinda varies, doob
i reckon some is more grassy than other,
some is lighter in color , some darker
kinda depends on where in the stable/pile
it came from
so expect some variation from bag to bag.
it's all good, just some is more composted that the rest.

Doob mine was kinda fluffy but not like hpoo... not as tight as cpoo. Dark and rich in color kinda in between hpoo and cpoo again. Try it you'll like it!
Damn I got home again without the camera! I'll post pics soon.

btw
i pasteurize not just with heat
but also with lime and bleach
so let it air out a bit before using
if there's still a strong bleach smell.

Will see soon. Mixed up a batch of my agway cow manure and peat moss to see in comparison. 40lbs cow manure (1bag), 20 quarts peat moss (5 gallons), 2 quarts large vermiculite, and 3 single handfulls of lime. :) All ready to hit the oven when I get the call the other donkey poo has arrived. ;)

If roc says it's good, it must be. ;) hehe, see what you made me do, order shit over the net. Litterly, bags of shit. LMFAO :D Gotta love it.

Welp, just picked up my sacks o poo from my buds place, and lemme say, this stuff is NICE! ;) Pre-pasteurized too.

It's pretty much as roc described, dark and rich, nice earthy smell (really, no foulness.... TINY TINY TINY TINY hint, but come on, this is shit. lol). Very impressive. It smells VERY similar to how my own mix usually smells. Just super nutritious and good. Not bad at all. A lil grassy and puffy kinda like peat moss, so I did not fluff it, just spawned it directly. I think the mycelium should tear this shit up something ferocious. I Will have my own threads up soon if the camera continues to cooperate. :)

Nice stuff hip. I only added a lil water to it too when spawning, otherwise, shit was near perfect. :) :cacti: :cacti: :cacti:

It does though! Almost exactly the same. Very impressive. I was expecting some shitty stink the way roc was describing, this shit is nice. Wait till you see the pics I'll have up shortly. ;) Some of that agway compost I use stinks so bad sometimes, this is nice and clean and fresh. I know it's pre-pastueurized, but I've had pasteurized shit stink bad. It's a positive comment. ;) heh ddd is impressed.

The foul smell came from the tea as I pasturized mine dooby... but then again it may have been the gas from my sorry old ass!
Enjoy!

Right you are Hip! I never had Pesa cluster like these...

Thanks all! The dpoo rocks!

I did have to place one tray outdoors under the deck since I had a quarter size piece of green trich show up. Mother nature is the only cure I have found for the dreaded green.

The other tray is the Transki and should pin and pop by the weekend.

Will keep ya'll posted.
