Has anyone else heard about this pizzagate thing?

I see it got moved to Trash Talk.  Everyone is scared shitless about it, and it is a real danger that the whole thing will be used to clamp down on alternative news and the private sector seems like it cant wait to use this outrageous story to throttle internet access to aid in the move toward censorship.   If they can call it "fake news," you lose your free speech.  No First Amendment rights are granted by Boogle  and Yay-ho.    I had to go looking for the thread, as it was here in God and County, where it seemed to me it belonged.  You can find it here: Pizzagate - Precedents - and Where Will It Lead?

Believe it or not, there was some legit research and analysis in that thread.   Not trash talk at all, IMHO.  That word, "precedents" was to show that this is not a new thing.   When such powerful people have their slip start to show, heads might start to roll.    So, like what happened to end this horrendous problem after the previous scandals, which was not much, except that some people died when it started pointing to the Whitehouse and the super-rich.   The dead included a two term Georgia State Senator and an ex-DCI, not to mention some witnesses and investigators.

On edit, while I found the thread moved into Trash Talk, the link leads to the Twilight Zone, where it also exists.   Don't ask me how that happened.

The whole "fake news" thing is so bogus.....It's being used to try to change the laws....but how long has the national enquirer been around?....that's all I have to say about that.....

"God help our country" is so appropriate.....we have a snowballs chance in hell to "help this country".....the people are soooo stupid here in the US....we might as well all move to argentina or someother place....seeyall there.....

I mentioned this in a prior thread, it's time to go when you start questioning whether you are insane or whether it's the people around you....

On the pizza gate note, I would like to rewind 120 years and see what Lincoln would say about sodomizing young men.....

I'm not one for Lincoln, as he decided that all people could be slaves, not just blacks.....So I think in response to that he would say "not men, just young black women" whom Jefferson had an affection for ....

Our history is soooo fucked, how could the future be any better.......

The "fake news" controversy is legitimate because we can all see the debate unfold in front of us.  We can see the policy arguments being made and how they are affecting the flow of information.  There are implications for free speech.  Its discussion belongs in God & Country.

To discuss Pizzagate as a probability when ( a) the premise is so extreme, ( b) there is only circumstantial evidence,  and ( c) people are now shooting in crowded restaurants is, to my mind, irresponsible.  I moved it to the Twilight Zone (I have no idea how the link ended up in Trash Talk, it should have linked straight from God & Country).  In doing so I relied on Hip3's decision to create the forum in the first place.  Before that, he was simply doing away with those conversations.

I realize that this is making a judgment call as to what is "real" and what is "less real".  I think what I'm doing is making a credibility determination.  The Pizzagate allegations are not credible for the reasons I already stated.  If you can convince me that there's damning evidence, or if a coalition of mods tells me I made the wrong call, I'm fine with it going back.

As for the National Enquirer, imagine what would happen if a substantial part of the country actually believed that the little green men came to Earth to watch the Superbowl with Elvis before sodomizing him with advanced dildo technology.  The "fake news" debate is totally unfocused, but I think it's at its best when it blasts demonstrably false media stories having an influence on people's behavior, of which there are plenty.  Pizzagate isn't demonstrably false as far as I know, but it is highly improbable (and as a bonus comes at an extremely convenient--or inconvenient--time).

At this point I could probably write a book or two. What Pizzagate is is where an iceberg's tip happened to poke through the surface, and triggered any number of plan Bs, Cs, and X's. The underlying fact of the matter is that a myriad of corrupt tendrils of the octopus has gone merrily along for a very long time, but this one which surfaced with the Wikileaks email dumps strikes at such a nerve as to cause it to convulse.

Bringing up the National Enquirer is comical, in that it has long been under the sway of the CIA, through its publisher, Gene Pope Jr., formerly in the employ of The Company, and later, through its ownership by the Company's Mob interests. Virtually all of the tabloids in the checkout lane are controlled at this point. They have served the propaganda machine well, simply by being where too hot stories can be printed in order to discredit them. It was no coincidence that the first envelope of the Ames Iowa strain of weaponized anthrax went to an Enquirer reporter.

To keep from writing a book here, I guess all I will say is this, the corruption in power in the whole Western World is the rule, not the exception. The internet has let us see more than we should have seen, and now, be ready to see it taken away, except as a way to watch our every move, and to clean away any messages which are not wanted, and of course, the messengers with them.

Nothing would surprise me at this point.  My entry into political activism in the '70s was learning about the military/CIA importation of heroin inside dead GIs.  It really outraged my sensibilities.  I went on to learn more and more about the corruption in more and more quarters, and there just wasn't enough time to cover every instance.  So, I made CIA drugs my focus, and after years of trying to pass the documentation up the chain, as far as my congresscritters, nothing at all happened, and it became clear nothing would.  Now, much of the stuff that I had in print, on cassettes, audio and video, are all online, and buried under a shit storm of disinfo noise.   I got sniffs of what has become Pizzagate decades ago, but kept my focus.   Now, with Wikileaks showing to the masters that they are losing their grip on the info biz, they are in Condition Red.   If they cannot contain what could bring them down, in a kind of French Revolution way, what might they try, while they still have the military/industrial/security state/MSM complex in their arsenal?   Nothing would surprise me at this point.   I said that, didn't I?

How do you know "Wikileaks" isn't part of the "master class"? It clearly came across as having a pointed agenda in the waning days of the election.

As for pizzagate, the timing is interesting for at least one reason. I believe it's in the next week or two that billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein will give his deposition in the case of a 13 year old accusing he and the President Elect of raping her at a sex party (20 years ago). Both Trump and Bill Clinton's ties to Epstein and Epstein himself are well worth a look. And yet... crickets...

I think that case was dropped.  And as much as I'd like to see Trump taken out, that case had a number of credibility problems too, like its timing and the fact that it was filed anonymously.

That's interesting...the third drop. Gotta keep up with this one daily.

It was only a month prior to the Politico article that the civil suit was awarded by a federal judge for mid December...who btw, must've decided there was enough credibility to move forward. Not that being a member of the U.S. judicial system automatically implies credibility. After all, as the Politco article pointed out, Epstein served only 13 months for "charges relating to prostitution". What they fail to ask of course, is how one only faces prostitution charges when the girls in question are underage? For those playing at home, that's pedophilia - 13 months? Oh to be a billionaire.

On the Epstein case, between the courts, police and press, looks like there are plenty of credibility issues to go around.

I hope that in reporting on some political realities, they are not embraced as the reality.   They are only a part of our shared unreality.   We want to believe our stories of personal autonomy and the national myth.   Each of the seven point five billion worlds is a made up, imaginary world.   If it hurts to let our false worlds go.  It hurts to keep them.   I hope we can see there is relief beyond a life sunk in the cherished illusions.   Can we have the perspective that we are just making effort toward cleaning up our illusions?   I don't know.

Western sidereal astrologist, Kenneth Bowser, predicted Trump's victory last May, using his charts.   He was on CtoCAM last Thursday where he predicted a "disastrous year," starting with a collapse of the stock markets as soon as Monday, and/or in the days following.  If that happens, we can be on the lookout for a major earthquake, "greater than Northridge," in the Los Angeles area, around the 3rd of March.

Let's watch and see.  You don't get chances like this every day.

I see that someone posted that audio to YouTube and Kenneth Bowser comes on at time: 9:30:
