Swallow-tailed Kite


One of my new passions is taking pictures of birds, and I got lucky last week when I caught this rare beauty.

What is ever rarer is that this bird is seldom seen perching.



Swallow-tailed kites are almost always seen in the air.

I do love how digital photography makes it much easier to capture, and identify new, and previously unknown birds.

I bet you get all kinds of cool birds down there that I will never see here.

I hope you share some more, please.
