Over the last 15 years or so I've seen a few members here share the sad story of losing the battle with Hep C. One peep in daze past here shared the battle lost by his mother and our hearts went out to those that passed on. I hope someone here will benefit from my story and avoid the grim reaper.

About 7 years ago I got the bad news myself... Hep C genotype 1b the tough strain with a cure rate of about 50/50 with the old medications available. It was devastating news for this old man. I probably contracted it back in the summer of '73 in my glory daze.

Having no insurance and knowing how nasty the meds were with a pitiful cure rate just added to my depression and feeling of hopelessness. The interferon and ribavirin treatment was  the only option up until a few years ago and I opted out on going with it. Couldn't have paid for it anyway.

My doctors recommended I wait until the new drugs were out that were showing a 96-98 percent cure rate and had little to no side effects unlike that chemo in a pill shit that only worked half the time for my genotype. Sounded real hopeful and was only a couple of years before they became available.

Last year the new drugs came to market. Harvoni is the drug by Gilead and the reality was that it does have a 98 percent cure rate with little of no side effects! Exciting stuff here until I found out the cost. Yep $1000 per fucking pill x 84 days for a total of $84,000 per treatment. Got insurance last year but they only pay for the shit if you have a certain level of liver damage. The fuckers will pay the 84g in lieu of 300g for a liver transplant. What a disappointment for old Roc! What the fuck - you pay or you die kind of shit! These asswipes are evil!

So what's an old man to do?

Research via Google...

A little over a year of Harvoni being released there is a deal cut with India for a generic supposedly under license of Gilead. A royalties type deal with a couple of Indian compounding companies under government control for use with their health care program.

The generics are being produced but India kind of shit all over Gilead and there are leaks with the generic getting out to market.

A real game changer - 84g versus 1g. Now this I can afford!

Do I want to go to India and find this shit? That will be a hell to the no!

Enter in an Australian man facing the same shit.

Video Interview with Greg

http://www.abc.net.a...h-cheap/6713258

Here's my deal...

I paid $150 for an online Austrailian Dr appointment that reviewed my blood tests and wrote my prescription.

I send $1250 to Greg and he picks up and sends me the prescription via airmail.

I take the 84 day prescription.

I waited 45 days after finishing the medication and go get my blood tests for a Hep C viral count.

I got the results last week and I have no sign of any Hep C.

I am Hep C free!

If anyone out there needs any help in getting a Hep C cure please let me know and I'll be glad to pay it forward!

That's great news ROC very happy for you. I've been aware of these new meds for a bit, very happy they worked for you!!!

In my county the government only pays for the meds if you been to prison, which is basically thier way of saying 'yeah we might of let a few guys run a train on you in the shower, are bad.' Fucked up isn't it.

But very happy for you.

Thanks for having the courage to share your experience and suggestion! This is potentially life saving for some people. Congrats on being gel free, as I'm sure that feels like a huge weight lifted off your shoulders.

I thank you for publicly sharing your story Roc. Congratulations on being "clean".

As for the rest of it.......I'll not add to your rant about the "health care" system. You've already seen some of my similar commentary regarding a totally different malady.

You know, really......we can at least be grateful that you found a path to treatment. Painfully, I admit that I just gave up (pun intended). In my own case, I found it cheaper to come "out of pocket" for "alternative" treatments like yoga and acutonics/massage therapy. However, my issue was mechanical - not viral or biological. Surgery or a life of pain-killers were my only choices - and I was told that surgery wasn't really an option either. Then they sent me to a "specialist" for pain management. I was basically crippled and wiped-out financially - and still in pain - until I discovered alternatives.

I went for my first bike ride yesterday after a 2-year hiatus. I can still walk this morning.

The message here to the reader is this:

After you give up in despair - 'cause I sure did - get back to searching as soon as you can.

The system is designed to cause you to quit or give up.

Beat the system by persisting. It may sound selfish - but at least you might win a victory on the personal level (which is really all that counts at the end of the day).

When you beat them and manage to obtain aid or services despite an organized system of resistance..........

Tell others how to do the same.

".....we'd like to help you learn to help yourself. "

Bless you Roc, I'm glad you found an option that worked for you. And thanks for sharing it with the masses. Anything, and everything that helps folks deal with the evil of big phrama, and insurance is good news in my book, and this is a huge thing your sharing.

Stay well brother.

Your sister can be Hep C free in less than 100 days... it takes 15-20 days for Greg to get your sis the meds she needs and get them to her. This is actually a legal process if you take the Australian option and let Greg handle the whole thing for you.

Big Pharma has already shut down Greg's Hep C Facebook page, DHL will no longer pickup or deliver to his home address, and Western Union will no longer process money transfers to him.

Greg is committed and as a true advocate has found ways to work around the bullshit thrown in his path.

Not one failure has occurred in anyone getting their meds yet.

Here's a cut and paste for you... take the Australian option. Trust Greg and let me know if I can help you in any way. Contact Greg at [email protected]

The short story:
Because so many people have been contacting me for information about buying generic Harvoni from India and Bangladesh I am now facilitating the entire process of purchasing generic Harvoni for folk who want me to.
Whilst I continue to offer free advice on any matter associated with accessing generic Hep C medicines I can now also assist you in the actual buying process.
I can guarantee that you are buying genuine Gilead licensed generic Harvoni from India at a fair and reasonable price. I can also guarantee delivery by a safe means to what ever country you live in. Because of my deep involvement in the Hep C world, and having helped many, many people access generic Hep C medicines, I understand the Customs requirements of different countries regarding importing generic Harvoni. So regardless of what country you live in I know I will be able to assist you in some way.
If you live in a country which totally prohibits the importation of medicines by mail or courier I will give you completely free advice on other options including honest and reliable contacts for purchasing generic Harvoni in such countries as India, Bangladesh, Thailand and Australia.

So the short story is:
To get a 12 week supply of generic Harvoni sent to you, send me:
1. A prescription
2. ID
3. Shipping Address
4. Contact phone number
5. Money

The price of a 12 week course of licensed generic Harvoni (84 tablets) shipped from India by DHL to anywhere in the world is AUD$1,850 inclusive of all costs. I will give you 100% support from your first enquiry all the way through to delivery and through treatment as well if you need it. Whilst this may not be the cheapest price you will find I can guarantee that the Harvoni is the genuine licensed product and that every step in the process from your first enquiry to the delivery will personally overseen by myself and I will always be available to discuss anything you need to know about. If you are in a position of financial hardship please talk to me about it and I will remove the small fee a charge for facilitating this process, which will reduce the price a little.

The Generic Harvoni Situation: An Overview
(The Long Story)
Bangladesh
The availability of generic Harvoni has been a confusing affair since about August 2015 when Incepta in Bangladesh began producing Twinvir.
At first there were concerns about quality however testing and actual treatment results consistently showed that Twinvir was, and is, a genuine Harvoni equivalent.
Twinvir is available in Bangladesh and I am happy to give you reliable contacts who will ship to you. However I would also suggest that going to Bangladesh and buying direct from Incepta is a good option and I can give you all the Incepta contact details.
Another option is to fly to Thailand where I can give you a contact who can get Twinvir for you. The cost in Bangladesh for a 12 week treatment is about US$1,100 the cost for shipment etc would add about US$300.

India
Generic Indian Harvoni has been on the horizon for some time.
It was known that Gilead had licensed at least four major Indian pharmaceutical manufacturers to make and distribute generic versions of Harvoni.

The cost of generic Indian Harvoni, on the street in India, is about 80,000 rupees or about US$1,250. Purchased from a reputable dealer online it is between US$1,350 and US$1,550 delivered to your door by DHL.

Australia
There are three compound chemists making a Harvoni equivalent in Australia of Sofosbuvir and Ledipasvir.

Two of these chemists are in Sydney and they make their Harvoni equivalent from Sofosbuvir and Ledipasvir supplied by an Australian Government approved pharmaceutical supplier. Every batch of Sof and Led are analyzed and tested by an independent certification process. So the quality is 100%.

It is a requirement of Australian law that Sofosbuvir and Ledipasvir can only be supplied to a patient with a prescription from an Australian registered doctor. However you do not need to be an Australian resident or even be in Australia as you can get an online consultation with an Australian doctor and then get the prescription. Once you have the prescription you can deal directly with the chemist and order the Sofosbuvir 400mg and Ledipasvir 90mg. These come in capsules and lactose free fillers are used.
This process has been in operation for almost 2 months now and the results are now flowing through.
So to get the Australian generic Harvoni equivalent you can come to Australia and pick it up or I can assist you to organise it all online.
Total cost for a 12 week treatment is AUD$2,350

Getting Generic Harvoni sent from India

This sheet is to explain the steps required to acquire generic Harvoni, from India without having to actually fly there yourself. If you are happy to fly to India to get your medication then you should read my other information sheet. Generic Indian Harvoni is now approved for sale in India and costs about 80,000 rupees for a 12 week treatment (84 tablets) if you go to India and buy it there.

If you want Harvoni shipped to you it will cost more than that because there are a number of processes that need to occur in India with documentation as well as the shipping costs.

Below are a few points I want you to understand before I get down to the main information.

Gilead has licensed four major Indian pharmaceutical manufacturers to make and distribute licensed generic versions of Harvoni. All of the four generic versions are chemically identical, Sofosbuvir 400 mg and Ledipasvir 90 mg.

The cost of generic Indian Harvoni is AUD$2,000 delivered by DHL with all appropriate paperwork for which ever country it is sent to.

Australia
If you wish to order generic Harvoni from Australia there are at least three compound chemists making a Harvoni equivalent in Australia of Sofosbuvir 400 mg and Ledipasvir 90 mg.

Two of these chemists are in Sydney and they make their Harvoni equivalent from Sofosbuvir and Ledipasvir supplied by an Australian Government approved pharmaceutical supplier. Every batch of Sof and Led is analysed and tested by an independent certification process.
You can do this by emailing Doctor Sandra Cabot

Once you have the prescription you can deal directly with the chemist and order the Sofosbuvir 400mg and Ledipasvir 90mg. These come in capsules and lactose free fillers are used. This process has been in operation for almost 3 months now and the results are now flowing through. So to get the Australian generic Harvoni equivalent you can come to Australia and pick it up or you can organise it all online and have it shipped to you.
Total cost for a 12 week treatment of the Australian Harvoni equivalent is AUD$2,350

I am happy to assist you with this process for free and happy to answer any questions about any part of the process. Just email me

Next: If you want me help you organise the shipment of generic Harvoni out of India then the process is going to require that you send money to a person you have never met (me).
This will involve issues of trust.
However if you Google my name (and spell it correctly) you will see that I have been helping people get generic Hep C medicines for more than 6 months now and I believe that my record is unblemished. I have no interest in ripping anyone off; in fact my motives are quite the opposite. I am simply trying to help people with Hep C get access to affordable medication from a reliable supplier.

If you are worried about sending the money then you should go to India yourself. There are advantages in going yourself, for example you can get good quality cheap dental work done while in India or combine the trip with a nice holiday and it is interesting to have a firsthand experience of getting the medicines.
I will happily supply you contact details of honest people you can deal with in India and give you every assistance in planning your trip. No fee or charge. I'm happy to help you get through this process and am available for advice even when you are in India.

Remember: Nothing is ever simple in India. I have been doing business with Indian people on and off since about 1992 and during that time I have learned that this ancient and wonderful culture has a different way of doing things, and they have every right to have a different way of doing things. However for many Westerners this different way is sometimes a little confusing and sometimes rather threatening. You will need to keep this in mind as you read the process below or if you go there yourself.

There may be unexpected things happen but every person I have helped has received their medicines as promised.

What you need to send me.
To clear Customs in most countries your parcel will need to email me:

• A prescription from a doctor in your country

• Some form of ID from you.

• Your shipping details (Name, address and phone number )

These should be scanned and sent to me as email attachments, separate documents (PDFs, or Jpegs), not inserted or embedded in the email.

You will need to send me exactly what dose you require, ideally this should be on the prescription. Usually this will be three jars of 28 tablets (84 tablets) for a 12 week treatment or whatever your doctor recommends.

The script can be for Sofosbuvir and Ledipasvir or generic Harvoni or Harvoni.

If you need more than a three month treatment then you will need to place a second order at a later date as the maximum amount of these medicines that can be sent from India at one time is a three month treatment (3 jars of 28 tablets). The same prescription can be used again.

Then you need to send me, in Australian dollars, AUD$2,000 for Indian generic Harvoni. (If your country has tough currency rules then I am flexible on this)

Once your money is received I forward it with the prescription, ID and shipping details etc to the supplier and they will forward your order to you by DHL or Fed Ex or Air Mail, depending on where you live.

The usual time from receipt of order in India to the shipment arriving at your door is 7 to 10 days, depending on your location.

If you are in a regional area it might take a bit longer.
I send you a tracking number the day after the shipment leaves.

Whilst I know the situation in most countries it is a good idea to be certain of your own country’s customs laws. Most countries will allow their citizens to import medication for personal use with a prescription. Most but not all; so please check to ensure that your medication does not get seized. I can provide relevant Customs information for most countries if you ask me. We will do our very best to make certain you get these medicines but you must know what your Custom’s rules are for importing medicines for personal use.

Summary
You need to send:
• A scan of your prescription
• A scan of some I.D.
• Your shipping details and phone number.
• Money in Australian dollars
• Allow 7 to 10 days for delivery to your door. I will forward you the DHL or FedEx Tracking number as soon as goods are shipped.

End cut and paste....

Just use an online currency converter to see your cost.
Trust and blind faith was a little hard for me but I am cured and actually felt bad that I ever doubted Greg... this is simply a pay it forward thing for me!

I'm sorry to hear of your losses!
It is a senseless death sentence that can now be avoided with these new drugs.

I've lost a couple of friends and watched a distant family member go from failed treatment with the old drugs to cirrhosis of the liver and eventually die of liver cancer. It's an ugly, slow, and painful death. His daughter will probably never get over it!

Big Pharma controls our Government and it's interest is in it's shareholders and making money off of other people. Disgusting pieces of shit with Execs makings 50-60 million a year. The true war on drugs should be against these inhuman bastards.

Rant over...

Been meaning to find this thread again (lost it last time I came across it)
Have always liked you Roc and am sorry that you are dealing with the Hep.
My interest is also partly self interest as well. I've been told by the docs that I have Hep C as well. Found out over 10yrs ago and have been blessed that I haven't noticed any daily symptoms, just know I had to clean up my act as i sure don't bounce back like I used to but that could be just because I'm in my 40s now.
I need to go thru and read this thread well, always find this thread at work or when busy but I want to read all you've put down.
That being said; I wish you nothing but the best of luck and health.

Much love your way Rock

Thanks for the kind words!

Next time you get a chance get a blood test and see what genotype you have and what the viral count is.

This stuff lays dormant for years but when it rares it's ugly head it can be a real killer!

With these new meds there are little to no side effects and they simply work.

Keep me posted...

I have a neighbor that comes up to his acreage on the weekends to smoke copious amounts of weed and rest.  He suffers from Hep but not sure which version.  I think I will share this information with him and see if he is receptive.

Congratulations on beating the system, a system designed to make money off of you, not cure you.  Thoughtful of you to share as well!

In honor of Professor Fanaticus I'm bumping this old thread back to life.

I recently visited the old PF site and was reminded what the ultimate demise of Billy McPherson was.

Here's a short cut & paste from the old site...

"Latest news: Robert ' Billy' McPherson, creator of the PF TEK, has passed away. Here is a recreation of his fanaticus website about mushroom cultivation, which existed from 1995 to 2003.

The mind of Robert 'Billy' Mcpherson, once better known as Psylocybe Fanaticus, has succumbed to hepatitus C. He will not be with us in 2012. He is in coma since 11-11-11 and in his final hours before leaving his body. His techniques will survive forever.

I guess that still most psychonauts who cultivate Psilocybe cubensis for entheogenic and other purposes use his creation, the PF TEK, to do so remember...

Over half a century has passed since Albert Hofmann identified psilocybin as the psychedelic (="mind manifesting") material in several species of Mexican mushrooms. One of those is Psilocybe cubensis.
Since then many hundreds similar psychedelics have been made. But psilocybine still stands out as nature's friendliest and best liked psychedelic. Today, over one hundred psilocybine producing mushrooms are known. From all of those, Psilocybe cubensis still is the largest, fastest, easiest cultivatable and third most potent one. Especially the PF Classic cubensis, known by some as penis mushroom.
Beginning in the nineteen sixties, myriad of methods have been published to grow Psilocybe cubensis. But only one technique can do without petri dishes, -pressure canner or other laboratory equipment. That is the Psylocybe Fanaticus Technique or PF TEK, created by Robert McPherson in 1991, which currently is the worlds most popular method to grow 'magic' mushrooms (downloaded, printed, distributed and practiced many millions of times).

The PF TEK is to the entheogenic experience what the hot water extraction is to the caffeine experience. People will be using it many centuries from now.

Levitate well Billy... you are now known by a small circle of friends but your practices are and will be followed by many for as long as mushrooms and mankind will coexist. The spores of your knowledge will be spread to the stars and beyond.

It was and is a pleasure to have grown with you!

Yachaj"

Rest in Peace Billy!

And with that said I'd like to let you all know that there is no excuse for any of you, your family members, or friends to carry Hep C even in a dormant state waiting to surface down the road.

After I became involved with Greg and he provided me with an alternative to Gilead's big pharma cure $84,000 cost I'm pleased to announce that he now provides the generic for $550.00.

I paid $1500.00 for mine when he provided my generic Harvoni.

This is not a risky underground option and I encourage you to join the 1000's of people Greg has helped.

The ironic part of this is that Gilead actually licensed India the formula and it's legal for anyone to travel with a 90 day supply of medication.

I only volunteer on the Hepatitis C International Treatment Cure and Community and make nothing on the generics.

Greg operates on a 15% margin and only does it to help people and beat Big Pharma.

Let me know if I can assist anyone in helping with acquiring the 98% cure rate that has little or no side effects unlike the nasty shit of the past.

Visit Greg's site

Congratulations on beating the system, a system designed to make money off of you, not cure you.  Thoughtful of you to share as well!

How is your friend doing these days?

Roc, I had no idea.

Congrats to beating this horrible disease.

The information you have provided here needs to be spread to the masses.

The only problem with that is, the greedy ones will find out and lobby the gov't to make yet another law to keep us sick.

Thanks for all you do.

As someone who also beat it, thanks to the new drugs, I was extremely happy to see that Roc had also been cured.

I had heard Roc had had it while i was hoping that the new drugs were about to drop.
The cure they had prior with interferon and ribavirin was not something i wanted to i give a whirl.

So had been waiting for the pills and then had to wait til the ACA to be able to afford it. When I got thr ketter saying that they couldn't deny anyone the drugs, i was offf like a shot to take advantage as i knew the gop wanted to take my health care.
And they finally did, but not before I got my cure.

So I messaged Roc to see if he'd been able to get it as well and was very gratified.
This place just wouldn't be the same without you buddy!

Was so pleased to hear it.

Thanks my friend!

Gregg Allman and many other talented musicians ultimately died from liver complications from Hep C.

Interferon and Ribavirin only had a 50 % cure rate for genotype 1b which was a common type not to mention it was so nasty it was like doing chemo.
I said no to it and waited for the DAA's to come to market only to find it was out of touch until I found Gregg in Australia with the first generic versions that were licensed to India by the same greedy fucking company here with their pay or die mentality.

Anyway we have supplied and now helped 1000's of people around the world and there is no excuse for anyone not to get treatment.
$600.00 and little or no side effects!

Still Roc n and doing the 64th BD next week!

Great to see you back around these parts!
