Anyway, for those of you niche vapers like myself, here is a comparison of the rare "Black Licorice" e-juices from 3 reputable online companies:
The companies are: Vape Dudes, Mad Vapes, and Vista Vapes.
I bought 52 ml bottles from each company with as close to 16 mg nic in each so that the flavor profiles could be matched.
VAPE DUDES: 16mg, black licorice, no boost, no steep time.
Conclusion: I got some intense flavor right out of the bottle the first day. Then it just started tasting like I was just vaping unflavored vg/pg. Pretty disappointing with every once in awhile a little licorice would pop through. 2 stars.
Mad Vapes: 18mg, black licorice, no boost, no steep.
Conclusion: even worse than Vape Dudes. Hardly any flavor at all. Even at the end of the bottle where there had been ample steep time by then. Yucky oily taste to be sure. 1 star.
Vista Vapes: 12mg, black licorice, flavor boost, no steep.
Conclusion: awesome rich flavor first to last. At only 12 mg, it's possible this had something to do with it, and these guys offer a flavor boost, which the others do not offer. Excellent! 5 stars.
I did not steep any of these, and frankly in my opinion that would not have made that much difference because it takes me 2 weeks to go through a bottle of this size, so that's two weeks of steeping by the end. Also it's possible that the nic amounts affect the flavor but the fact is, I have to say that Vista Vapes not only had the best flavor, but they always give you a couple of extra bottles of their other flavors to try for free, they have excellent customer service, an of course their product is "dank". I recommend them to you. Fast online order and reception of your juice too.
The fact is I have gone to over 30 vape shops just to see if they stock black licorice. None do.
So there you have it folks, my opinion based on decades of loving and eating black licorice.
Vape on!
