How to keep temps down with no windows

ok my friend has a room with no windows and he needs to bring temps down theres a small window but to small for an air conitioner so what is he to do about this. any advise.

There are free standing A/C units (spendy).

Best to buy inexpensive window A/C unit, convert to free standing & vent it OUT the little window you have.

If u only really need to cool a fruiting chamber ,U could use a solid state cooling device that runs on 12V ...Think it's called a Peltier junction [sp]..they are used in some coolers . U would need a thermostat too...or just buy a cooler....

one can make a crude but effective cooler
by blowing a fan onto a wet cloth.
as the water evaps, it sucks in heat.
so get a big box fan and point it at a wet bedsheet, etc.
when the sheet dries, re-wet.
should increase humidity too
as well as lowering temp by several degrees.

or just a regular fan might do the trick
