I think the request for Waylitjim is undisputed. If he should pop in again (I hope), he will find the mentor award as well...........

What do you get the submarine for? Could be I am the only actual (diesel-electric) submariner (pronounced: submareener) here. So tell me, what do I have to do? I passed the physical and did the buoyant escape test. I qualified, and that wasn't easy. C'mon man... I want a submarine too.
Alder, for most people it would be ego asking for a specific award for yourself. I however have seen you are selfless. The Yellow submarine is just for the happy people, spreading joy.
I think you qualify for the original intended reason, so because it means something more to you, I have given you the award. (because you do spread joy)...................................

Thank you so much for the yellow submarine. I was actually serving on that black submarine when the song, Yellow Submarine, came out. It was a huge hit on the boat I was on.

Dang Alder! I was thinking of giving the Ol'Timers award too, but I might have to make sure all your awards will still fit on the screen of your dial up connection, let alone fit the screens of everyone else.Thank you so much for the yellow submarine. I am sorry. I didn't mean to fuck with everyone's bandwidth.

Everybody is a comedian! :)
I second every nomination and demand that the awardees produce evidence of spending their winnings

I would like to give/nominate @sidestreet for this award. He is all over the boards giving encouragement, guiding our newest members, and teaching us all how to be safer. I know he's super busy, but he still finds the time to pour over legal documents, interpret them, and post them in an easy to understand way to help keep us from harm. That type of mentoring could arguably be the most important type of mentoring here. Any of us can/could re-teach BRF/PF tek, he's teaching us how to keep our freedom. Which at the end of the day is much more important in this cat's humble opinion.

Thanks so much, that warms my heart. <3
I love doing it. I don't feel like what I do is any more important than what anyone else does here but I'm glad that I can add something to the Topia talent pool, which is overflowing.

I'd like to award or nominate @arathu for this award. His welcome return to the community reminded me of his great contributions to the woodlover section, specifically the "communal woodlovers thread". It's great to have another positive badass back.
Speaking of badasses returning, I think that @fahtster is deserved of this appreciation award as well. His work speaks for itself.

I agree with the nominations and realize how lucky we are to have these people here.
I am thrilled arathu stopped by to see how his thread on communal woodlovers thread has grown and many are now growing their own, all over .
I would nominate Needles he has helped so many in ways I can not begin to mention.
I forgot we have this nomination thread.
