I'll check that ph when I have a day off Saturday.  I gave a watering with calmag when spots started and all new growth has been healthy solid green since.  I was planning to give a good root wash flush this weekend then start on flowering.

I decided to stop dragging my feet on making my mist cloner box and went and found an ice cube bucket and a plastic cracker sleeve holder thing that will fit nicely together with a submersible water pump a length of pvc and a few mister heads to make an awesome littler cloner pod for the veg box.  I'm ordering the pump, collars, and mister nozzles tomorrow can't wait.

First day after 12 hrs of dark

my digital ph meter wasn't working, I've ordered another  I did a sample-capsule powder test and it looked a bit on the alkaline side but not too bad.  I gave them a good dose of 5-ish ph molasses water, new growth is still pretty decently green. actually, really the only discolored leaves are one generation of them and I think it may have been light related because hardly any of the ones below that layer had it happen.  And those were the main leaf layer when I transplanted, at that.

This is going to be interesting to see how this cabinet fills out.

White widow seedling is working on its 3rd set of leaves.

thanks man.  I just wish everyone could grow their own and not have to worry about being caged like an animal for it.

Then I can bust out of this little closet and take it to the back yard! =)

~50% through flowering phase.  I'm thinking a touch of light burn is what the lighter edges on the leaves are about because it's primarily on the top layer.  I raised the lights and turned them down a bit so we'll see what happens.  I also have started using cal-mag every watering (starting with saturday's watering) because I am noticing some purple leaf stems so it may be a mix of the 2 issues.

I saw the exact same thing occur when I raised the pH too high. They'll recover. I added some apple cider vinegar - 1 tbsp/gal.  It helps lower the pH. You may also want to add supplemental microbes if you have them - like Great White or something similar or compost tea if you have it.

That's what's boggling me the PH when I test the soil is right about 6.8 and I water with low 6's - high 5's water.

yea morvis, classic copper deficiency shinny green with yellow but not burnt edges which most always pH issues, I know LOL also if pH is off it effects more than Copper and Iron it's just those mineral seem have more outward showing symptoms where as like Phosphorus will be more in growth and purpling. . flush bro with pH'd water a little lower than what you are shooting for till it's at or near target amount then immediately after give correct pH'd nutrient feeding and you'll be fine...good luck my friend

I'll do that sunday I watered with fairly low ph water yesterday but my PH pen I found broken last time I went to use it and I've been using my backup test kit ph capsules but testing as instructed, the color is  always right where I want it..  Got one en route right now be here tomorrow.

PH was a bit high, but not too bad, like 6.8 - 7.2.  Been giving low 5's waterings it's cleared up quite a bit in the mean time.  Week 6 starts tomorrow.  Probably going to go ahead and dial back on nutes from here, may give a little blast of P and K before I cut off altogether.  Planning harvest around the 1st.

Starting week 9.  There are some purple hues starting on some of the fan leaves.  I've read Bubba Kush is an 8 week strain so shouldn't be long.  I'm not sure if that's 'after the stretch' weeks or from day 1 12/12.  I count my days from light cycle change.

frosty!
