So I know that the Kombucha craze is gaining momentum...
But is anybody hip to Jun?
The essential difference, is that the kombucha scoby (Symbiotic Colony of Bacteria and Yeast) feeds off black tea and white table sugar.
The Jun scoby, is probably more ancient, and runs off green tea and honey...
If the recipe for one gallon of Jun, requires 6-8tbs of green tea, and 1 cup of honey....
Then why not use Blue Honey?
1gal = 128 fluid ounces / 16fl. oz = 8 bottles
1 cup (honey) = 16tbs @ roughly 1gr (aborts) per tbs....divided by 8 bottles = 2gr per delicious beverage.
Since the sugars of the honey are metabolized in the process, Im hypothesizing that the magic would be the only element left within
I recently killed off my Jun scoby out of neglect (I know )...which sucks, cause I'm up to my eyeballs in abort honey
Somebody please give this a spin,
Or better yet!!.....please hook me up with a new Jun scoby!!! lol
Now it's out of my head...please enjoy
