Purchased 2 at the end of a season ago for $5 total.

They “survived” last year in a large container.

Plan to get them in the ground and trellised this year.

Probably no berries till next year

my raspberry and black berry patches  are a mess , full of weed trees ect ,

i need to clean them out cut all the trash saplings and cut out all of the old canes .

 

time to renew !

Harvested all the raspberry's for this year, now on to drying leaves for tea and tinctures. Anyone else use leaves?

What growth zone did they "survive" ive got a few in potters outside and dont know if I'm going to winter them or take them inside to join our "domesticated" plants for the first year...
I'm in 4A/B...

Raspberries are know to handle up to zone 2, they should have no problem with zone 4. I have personally picked raspberries in Gaylord Michigan which is zone 4b.
