Michael Moore's “Fahrenheit 9/11” on youtube, will be up free for a week
on the 20th anniversary of the attack
covers the Bush family's connections with the Saudis
Many corrupt, hypocritical, and greedy politicians
---much we have forgotten about since the horrors of Trump & covid & the
passage of time...
then the movie goes on to the Iraq war,
and the psychology of the patriot act & John Aschcroft
and censorship
and a bit on poverty in the US & how that relates to military recruiting
I found much of it hard to watch, but managed to get thru it
Very much worth watching, especially for younger folks, who were young at that time.
Personally I find Michael Moore overly sentimental at times, but the info seems necessary,
for a better understanding of our times.
