When it comes to cannabis I do have some favorites, but I do love trying the different strains that's out there in this world. Yesterday I saw my supply was running low, saw some decent deals and decided to go grab some. I've become rather critical as to how it is processed and packaged. There are some that are packaged very well, stays nice and fresh through the whole bag or jar.

Then there are some that have half assed packaging done cheaply or can be just questionable because of their packaging. By this I mean good product, but running a 50/50 chance of being dried out when bought or drying out while having the product. With that being said there are times I take chances and yesterdays was a chance taker. Luckily I came out really good and happy.

 

Grow Ohio a.k.a Butterfly Effect is one of the grow groups that fall in the 50/50 group for me. Their packaging for smaller quantities I feel is sub-par, but beings I didn't have a bunch of moolah I took a chance on them again and grabbed me a 2.83 gram jar. This jar was nice and fresh feeling for being almost at it's expiration date.
Growers: Grow Ohio
Strain: Triple Crown
Type: Indica
Genetics: Triangle Kush x GMO/Triangle Kush Skunk
THC: 16.93%

 

This flower has a thicker heavier feel to the lungs, but is very nice to either lock your butt in the couch or fall asleep. I've had this strain a few times and normally use this strain to make a herbal tea concoction that helps me with sleep.

I also grabbed a new strain I can't say I've tried, but one of the parents is a strain I do like very much which is Cherry Pie. I haven't bought from these growers before. It's a group called Farmaceutical RX.
Strain: Honey
Type: Hybrid / Indica Dom.
Genetics: Sour Dub & Cherry Pie
THC: 17.9%





This is some decent flower. It starts off kinda heady then slowly sinks down into the body. I'd say this stuff will give ya the munchies like nobody's business and I'd venture to say it could make you fall asleep if you do too much, but that's just me. I honestly can't complain about getting a total of 8.49 grams for 40 bucks. Until my next journey to the dispensary thank you for looking and reading.

Wow, it's been a minute since I've updated this thread, but yet here I am in a moment of somewhat clarity.
Ohio is a interesting state when it comes to cannabis. There have been quite a few changes since I started this thread. I won't bore y'all with them details.
One thing that is a big deal for any of you that live in Ohio is to vote yes on the legalization issue that is going to be on the ballot this November. If passed we'd be able to grow 12 plants per household. <--OoooWeeee!
Enough with the politics and on to some new strains I ran across that I think is worth checking out if you get a chance.

The two strains I have to show today are both from Cresco that goes by the name Supply. I suppose it's a new line of their product but fuck if I know. I can just give a review.
The first one up is a rather tasty sativa hybrid that goes by the name Lemon Ice.
It is Lemon Bean x Italian Ice
This bud has a pretty good flavor, one that lasts through the whole bowl.
She sits a a decent 23.18%




The other is a rather thick smoking indica hybrid that has one of the most ridiculous names I've seen.
She is a cross of Face Off OG x Kush Mints and goes by the name Resting Kush Face.
I won't lie, although a thicker smoker she is a couch locker and actually helped me fall asleep, so that's a plus.
She sits at a decent 20.74%
