Well I still have mixed feelings about this. Ten years or so ago this alone would have me moving back there lol, but knowing what is in our drugs and having 20 year old boys it scares me.

I'm very happy that more research is going on with magic mushrooms, cannabis and cacti, and you can't be thrown in jail for small amounts.
Small amounts of any drug is the problem, opioids are killing people.

Now I do believe this is bringing a more clean supply but not always and some still gravitate to fentanyl.
RCMP stated 95% of powders contain fentanyl now.
You can ask for one thing and get another.

Ending the war on drugs is something I stood strongly for but now that it has happened in my country... I just don't know what to say.
I needed to talk this over with like minded people.

I'm opioid free now 3 or so years now and I still have chronic pain but it's actually better without the opioids, they made my pain worse with withdrawal pain all the time need more and more.
I had to quit before I died like some of my friends... They are still dropping.
One friend left to od laying against the building, one at home alone and my brothers good friend just lost his battles.... Way more to even count.
But hey its legal to do this to yourself now in Canada anyway just call the MAID
if I owned molly maid I would be really mad
Don't get me wrong everyone has a choice to take their own life too especially when they are not doing something that would take others with them.

Anyway it just does not feel like celebrating that we won the war on drugs.
It feels like we can loose many young people over this.
My boys know my battle they lived through it and I talked to them about it. I know they tell me they never will and I do believe them but I also know how hard it can be and some people out there are not honest.

Thanks and it has to be a personal choice to get out of a bad addiction, I don't think every drug should be viewed as ok
There's different.... Latley I seem to have no words
It's hard to explain how I feel about it but lately it feels like we see the cycle of things more clearly
Maybe bring hope moving forward

Lots of things come with grey hair. For some it's arthritis, others wisdom, most of us ....... both  :)

 

My first reaction was to move there as well but only if Acid gets easily available. Otherwise these days I can grow what I need.

I don't think it's working British Columbia


2500 people died last year average 7 per day
This makes me happy I'm free of opioids but very sad I keep hearing people I know not get out of this mess
I was huge on stopping the war on drugs but its a mess
I really hope Drs are using this research time for other substances that can really help people
If we have a change in government this will stop the opioid part which might be a big thing come election time depending on what they make against the law again opioids are on that list for certain

Many many people get this from the dr and all will become illegal that might change people's votes or make them vote who knows we still have a year and a half to go I believe
