i've also seen an alcoholic energy drink called Sparx or maybe Sparxx in an orange can, tastes like sweetarts or something.

The bizzare (and awesome, imo) thing about sparks is, at least at the 7-11 where I first found it, it's cheaper than a comparably sized energy drink, and cheaper than a comparably sized beer. It's also high alcohol content I believe (10%? maybe 11).

and if you drink enough of it on a two say bender you pee neon orange :lol: never again that and jager bombs (red bull and jager):drk: just saw the thing about sparx and had to mention the neon urine effect of say 8-10 in one night two nights in a row "holy shit you guys my piss is glowing"

Back when I was in college, lo these many long years ago, there was drink which was, rightly or wrongly, known as the Steve Stills cocktail. Tequila and coke. Bite the lime, slam the tequila, snort the coke. One could become decidedly intoxicated if several were consumed.

This is an old thread I never saw the first time around, but I have to put in here that I saw a special on tv early last year about how people were having bad reactions after mixing energy drinks and alcohol. I can't remember what the reactions were, but I decided then that it was a buzz I didn't need after all. It seems like somebody died or at least made an ER trip, but I'd have to look it up to find out.

There have been a few of the speedy beers/coolers etc. come through around here, and I kind of like them. I like a really good beer for taste, but at a party the speedy stuff is drinkable and a lot of fun. I really like the buzz, and the ability to stay awake!

I'm a really mellow drunk, so don't get (too) obnoxious. At least that's what folks say. But I can see that an ugly / obnoxious drunk would be a serious pain in the arse on this stuff.

If u can stay up, u can drink more beer. I remember the first time I drank lite beer, I drank it all day and got a headache, then I went and got a rack of real beer and got loaded as usual. I figured they invented it so football fans could drink through the whole game and still remember it the next day. Well, if I was selling beer, I'd want my customers to drink as much of it as possible! Why didn't they think of this before? And only HALF the calories of our regular beer!
