The clone cups are starting to show some bright white spots here and there , coming through the manure. This is awesome because hell or high water I really want a grow of all super-mario clones. One of these methods should do the trick i hope.

Ok now I know why they call it Myco Porn!!! This is one of the first times I think I ever got that really happy feeling from looking at at grow! The simplicity is amazing yet genus simplicity beyond its best!!

What ever happened to the egg-carton lasagna beds? How about the tube that you flipped the sub and filled with rez effect?

All outside ...

I live in the PNW and unlike many other areas , its been Juneuary ... very cold and wet , better for woodlovers than cubes.

There are pins on the flipped , sub and the other stuff I threw outside , but its literally like 35 - 40 F here at night ... for weeks and weeks.

I decided to throw the towel in on the clones for now. I have a double-dip of inlaws coming to stay and due to neglect they were moving very slow anyways. I can't keep a dedicated room for that stuff for at least a couple weeks. I immeadiately have to cleanse the whole area and prepare for company.

In the meantime , I have been PC'ing popcorn to get some jars on the go. They are small jars and should take at least 2 to 3 weeks to fully colonize. This gives me time to do the family thing and have them in a box in my room hidden away from prying eyes.

It's a disappointing set-back , but not really a big issue. I've already been blessed with this grow and the rest was just icing. I know that marios and super-marios are built into the Redgirl and I will have plenty of chance later to isolate some equally as cool characters.

From inside the kitchen I could see activity on top of the 'refuse pile of projects dumped outside. I love that effect where you're doing dishes and then your like ... hey , I think I see something there. I went out and sure enough , even though its been very cold and wet this month , tehre were some chunky Redgirl fruits there and more forming.












Big view ....

In a few weeks I'll have some more Redgirl on popcorn and will again use straight Horse manure and report back here for some more fun and new ideas.

Beautiful! I find it amazing how outdoor differs so greatly in appearance from indoors... Now, differs in potency? I wouldn't know... I'm sure not too different. Great pics!

Man I'm sorry to hear this .....but was a wonderful grow. I wasn't sure from your post did you toss the eggbox clones or have you just stored them.

Hears hoping you get to pick up soon and possibly a trip-report if the in-laws go out :)

Amazing thread Hyphae. I also live in PNW and didnt realize I could put stuff outside like that. Well I havent grown anything yet but when I do, if one goes bad this summer Ill try that. And yeah "juneuary" was a drag. And now lightning storms, weird weather for sure.

Hope I'm not missing it but skimmed through page six and the rest of the thread. How did your experiment from this post ( https://mycotopia.ne...tml#post1156381 ) go? Did you have success with it or did you just nix the sub after harvest?
